The Beach!

This weekend my family went to the beach. It was a great time, the beach, shopping and delicious food! Although it's freezing on the Oregon coast it's still one of my favorite places. It is so pretty and refreshing. There is always something fun to do when you visit. We stayed in Lincoln City, so we went and checked out the tidy pools which is full of fun little creates. We also discovered the best carmel apples ever along with the smallest Moe's restaurant at The Devil's Punch Bowl. Now the Punch Bowl is a super cool place to visit along the Oregon Coast. It is an area that has been eroded by the ocean, and it actually looks like a bowl. The water goes out at low tide and it fills during high tide. We didnt hike down because it was rainging and super cold, but tourists have the option to go explore the bowl if they want. We also stayed in a new hotel, Liberty Inn, it was really nice, close to the beach and cheap. My family had a great time, it was definetly an awesome spring break trip!

Summer Time Bod

Ok do you ever look through magazines and see all these celebrities with great bodies, I know I do. I was flipping through and I came across a picture of J. Lo, and everyone knows she is gorgeous. I mean seriously she has an awesome figure and natural beauty. Not to mention she can sing, dance and act along with being a mom of twins. Now if I had all that going on I'd be in bomb shape to. So after I thought through all of this earlier today I thought why not me. By the time summer comes around my bodies going to look like that!

I'm going to get toned and in really good shape. Now my bodies not bad but needless to say I've been slacking on the exercise and been indulging in the food area. I'm back home and I'm ready to get in gear. It's hard for me to get into the workout mode mind set, but once I do it's on. My magazine experience has me pumped up. So this is my motivation for myself, I put it out there and now it has to be accomplished. I figure since I love to dance I'll include that in my working out along with running and swimming. Thats honestly what women really need to stay in shape. I'm also going to work on my core.
Summer time bod here I come, thanks for being my inspiration J. Lo!

Stick Thin

Alright so some thing that just drives me nuts are todays runway models. They look like skeletons or unattractive young boys. It's a little harsh I know but when the average sized women in America is a size 14 then it's extremly unrealistic to have size 00 women advertize clothing. I'm just saying that it would be better for everyones self esteem, including models, if healthy was considered beautiful. Yes America's fat but the fashion industry has a straight up eating disorder. All I'm saying is lets meet in the middle so everyones happy. A healthier looking model would help women feel more beautiful. Everyone wants to look there best but thats hard to do when what we are accustom to seeing is an unattainable goal. The average plus size model is a 10 to 12 and thats even unrealistic. Lets have models be a size 2-4 so they at least lool healthy, and for the plus size models lets go with the average size of American women, a 14. I like how models looked when Cindy Crawford, Tyra Banks and Cristy Brinkley were around. They looked sporty and in shape which is what should be todays standard. You shouldn't get depressed when you look at models you should be inspired. I was reading an article on Marilyn Monroe recently, she was so gorgeous and during her career she wore a size 8-10. So it is possible to be beautiful and have a normal figure. You can be beautiful at any size look at Queen Latifah! Beauty is from within, it's all about being comfortable with yourself about be confident in who you are. Wouldn't it be great if the fashion industry understood that.

Packed Up

I packed up dorm.....and oh boy I have more stuff then I thought. I still have to pack everything into the car and thats going to be interesting, but I cannot wait to be home with my family and friends. I thought that leaving WOU was going to be more sad but due to the fact that everythings come crashing down I'm excited. I'm ready for a fresh start, and the way things are looking it's going to be a bright future!
Heres my advise, if you're not happy where youre at and you can change it then don't be afraid and do it. If you're stuck where you're at then change your attitude.

It's all okay

It’s always all at the same time when you’re world starts to fall. Crumbling beneath your feet making you feel so small. The sound of defeat sounds in your ear. Maybe it’s the place the people or the year. The hate starts to eat away making you look in the mirror and what you see doesn’t make anything clearer. You see what the world defines you as, then you look harder and the fog begins to lift. You see the true you, the person who has so much potential a true gift. The person who doesn’t listen to the mean things people say. That’s the you that you need to be each day.

TV Guide

Todays been way blahhh. I went to my classes and now I'm in the library. I was pondering what gets me through my weeks here at Western Oregon University and I came to a conclusion, TV shows. I know it sounds pathetic but honestly my days here look the same. Go to class, study and do homework, workout, and hangout. It gets pretty boring seeing that WOU is in Monmouth where there is absolutley nothing around. Don't get me wrong some people love it here and then again alot of people don't. So anyways back to my topic, TV shows, right. Every night there is something else on that a group of people want to watch give or take a couple. Since there is nothing around to do we all meet up and watch TV shows. You get a fun hangout with people you like, you get to watch a show, and then all talk about it after. Hahaha now that I think about it, it kinda sounds like a book group but not. Heres the show schedule....

Mondays
Pretty Little Liars @ 8:00pm on ABC Family
Bad Girls Club @ 9:oopm on Oxygen

Tuesday
Teen Mom 2 @ 9:00pm on MTV
The Game @ 10:pm on BET

Wednesday
ANTM @ 8:00pm on the CW
Glee @ 8:00pm on FOX

Thursday
Jersey Shore @ 10:00pm on MTV

There ya have its a little lame, anyways yay TV Guide hahaha.

Jessie J - Who You Are (Boombox Series)

Alright so this is Jessie J a new up and coming British singer. Her most advertized song is "Do it like a Dude," when I first saw this music video I seriously was like uhhh what the heck. After searching some of her other songs I changed my mind. I've really been captivated by her style and her voice. She has some swag let me tell you, not to to mention her crazy chic style. She seems to be really diverse in her sound and her lyrics are awesome. Each of her songs have a meaning, its not like anything on the radio right now. I don't know about you but I'm tired of listening to rapper after rapper talking about how they make it rain and get it in with the hoes. Her first album is coming out April 12th I think so should be way cool.
I thought I would share this song "Who You Are," because it's rad and totally turned my day around today, hope it does the same for you!

Hey

So I'm A. This is my Brand new blog, I've never really been interested in blogging to be honest. I have alot going on in my life though and I felt like this would be a awesome way to vent and explore ideas. It's kind of a crazy time, I'm a student and I just recently realizes that I hate the university that I'm at. I've been miserable here this whole last term and I finally decided that I'm going to move back home. It's a big step and I'm a little nervous but it's all about figuring out what's going to make me happy in life at this point. I have two weeks until my term is over and then I'll be back home with the fam. I'm going to go to community college and get a job, that is until i figure where I want to transfer. All these new changes should be interesting.
This blog is pretty much going to be about all my new experiences both good and bad. It's going to cover all my new ideas. So lets get started!
